Attorney Cristina Delgado is the founding member of BEST FIRM. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Cristina is rooted to Michigan as she attended Divine Child High School, received her B.A. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and her J.D. from Thomas M.Cooley Law School where she graduated in May 2005. Cristina Delgado is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in the Arabic language. Cristina is an active member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan, the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan and the 6th Circuit Ct. of Appeals.

Cristina prides herself in her decade of experience in negotiation, mediation, and trial-experience. Horace D. Cotton

Associate Attorney


Horace D. Cotton is the managing attorney for the firm’s Personal Injury department. Mr. Cotton brings over 35 years of experience with him as he has represented the most complex of personal injury cases. Mr. Cotton is proficient in auto negligence, No Fault, police misconduct, and employment discrimination. His over three decades of experience have made him a confident and sharp trial lawyer. During his legal career Mr. Cotton has obtained settlements and judgments in excess of $1,000,000 and is passionate about representing injured persons. Mr. Cotton seeks justice for all his clients and will not stop until he achieves your desired results.

Mr. Cotton graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Oakland, Mr. Cotton made the Dean’s List as a Distinctive Student, and served as a teacher’s assistant in the African Studies program. After Oakland, Mr. Cotton attended the Michigan State University School of Law. While in law school, he earned the American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure, and made the Dean’s List.
In his free time Mr. Cotton enjoys church, music and sports.

Milica Filipovic

Graduating from Wayne State University Law School, Milica Filipovic has continued to put her proficient skills to work as an Associate Attorney for Best Firm since its inception. Through zealous practice, Milica applies her invaluable skills to her everyday practice in and out of the courtroom. Milica’s trial skills and sophisticated and practical research and writing abilities make her an asset to our team approach of representing first and third party claims and dealing with insurance adjusters, the Michigan Assigned Claims Unit, and opposing counsel. Milica’s ability to advocate and work directly with her clients has given her the ability to seek and obtain the maximum in financial compensation for clients that were otherwise turned down elsewhere.

While Milica’s aggressive and effective advocacy is evident in her successes in the courtroom, her greatest attribute is the compassion and dedication she has for her clients and her community. Being injured in an accident is a devastating and life changing matter. Milica brings her experience in helping clients during their darkest hours, to alleviate the stress of an already difficult time.
